Did you use the same website template as VigilantCitizen.com? Anyway, its funny that there are people saying its "fake", but nobody has given any reason for it. Thorough analysis with explanations, and probably at least a dozen pop stars with the same symbolisms in their music. What is fake about pointing these things out? You can draw different conclusions, but the fact is, there is a huge myriad of pop stars all using known occult symbolism (the one-eye, the checkerboard, the blacked-out eyes dolls, the mickey mouse ears, etc.) There is nothing fake about the observations, just differences in opinion as to what they ultimately mean.

I think the militant label is applied because atheists are opposed to the goals of other groups more deserving of the militant label (i.e. the Muslims and Christians you mentioned). It's not because of their own behavior, they just oppose militant behavior in others so they get to be militant defacto.

Also, virtually none of the "militant atheists" are very militant about their own beliefs. I believe Dawkins and definitely Bertrand Russel (okay, he might pre-date this whole thing) and Stephen Gould basically said that their lack of belief in God had as much to do with their identity as their lack of belief in (reaches in bag...) the Easter Bunny, because they are philosophically agnostic and wholly admit that they don't know and with absence of evidence choose to assume non-existence.

One thing that a lot of "Militant X" types also fail to consider is that people can hold multiple conflicting beliefs which they believe wholeheartedly and use for different situations. It's sort of 1984-style doublethink, only for a less malicious purpose.

It may be that I'm more able to write off that kind of behavior because I share the same fundamental problem: I can't really understand other people. As such, I can't really see many of the people in more fundamentalist religions as rational.

To me, the key to "Militant X" is really the inability to understand other points of view. To be caught up enough in your point of view that you can't look at another view as though it is rational or at least sane. That is the reason for dickery.

The forum is even more "entertaining" if you care to take a look. It is most definitely a phony website. What's sad is how many droves of fools are believing it is all based on facts.

Also, the comments under the most recent article about transhumanism is another mindfuck to read.

I felt the same way you did! I came across the site when I was watching "Run This Town" on youtube, and saw some of the comments about people thinking it meant "worshiping satan" when I read the "story" about the song I really did find myself laughing about what these people write.

I also read all the Rihanna and Lady GaGa stories and lost it. What made me believe that this site is in all fake, is the story about the 2009 VMAs calling Taylor Swift and Pink (Of all people) Illuminati.

I am working on a text editor for fiction writers. It would be nice to know what features you would like to see in it.

Veggies might be okay. I know you can certainly survive if you add in nuts to your diet. Somehow, eating 9 pounds of veggies a day doesn't really appeal to me, though.

3000-4000 is kind of crazy, yeah, but it's not that hard if you eat a lot of pizza and drink a lot of soda, for example. It's certainly not an amount of calories that I need; it's not like I'm running marathons or anything to burn off the excess. Fortunately, as I said, it's not my typical Calorie count.
